The Lee Family Banana Pudding

Banana Pudding Recipe


Ingredients:


-1 box of 'Nilla wafers

-5 bananas

-Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (1 can)

-1.5 cups cold water

-1 pint (2 cups) whipping cream

-1 box Vanilla INSTANT pudding mix


In large bowl combine sweetened condensed milk and cold water, mix well... add pudding mix and beat well, then chill for 5 minutes.


In the meantime, whip 1 pint (2 cups) whipping cream until peaks


fold whipped cream into pudding mixture, softly combine


Layer bananas, cookies, then pudding in a dish until you run out.


chill until ready to serve or eat immediately.

What size box of pudding do you use? The small or the large?

I make my banana pudding this way except i use milk instead of water. Sooo good! I'm always asked for the recipe as everyone gobbles it up! :)

This was very good! I made a few changes, I put milk in the place of water and used Cinnamon Cool Whip in place of whipping cream. It was extremely sweet so next time I may use only half a can of sweetened condensed milk.

This looks great! But the picture sure looks like you baked it for at least long enough to brown the peaks, but there's no mention of baking in the directions. Do you know how long it should be baked? Thanks!
